In baby face i noticed that Barbra argued to her father which i wouldn't expect to see if it were a post code movie. When the old man is talking to her and tells her to go out in the world and not stay where she is the camera angle makes him look bigger than her and it also looks like when he look at him in that scene the cameras looking up at him. The camera made the fire look much bigger than the crowd of people in front of it.
The movie fits the stereotype of silent films because of the music in the background. In the film the men were cat calling the girl. In this film the girl said she found a striping job which you wouldn't hear if this was during post code. There is a bigger picture idea in this movie. There is a sex scene which u wouldn't see post code. The film channels morals of the 30s and post code era because it shows the female character having sex with not just one but many men. If this were post code we would never see that or hear the character mention anything to do with sex.
